Just Australian Things
Hello again, as you may or may not know, I am Australian. When you think of Australia or Aussies in general, you may think of 'shrimp on the barbie' or how we say mate after every sentence. Well probably what most of what your thinking may be true but some things just aren't true. Here are some slangs or just words in general that we say that others don't. Bottle-O Bottle-O is basically a liquor store, "your only 15 how do you know this", well as a matter of fact, I live across the road from one, I usually just call a liquor store, a liquor store. But for the true Aussie slang we would say Bottle-O Thong Now a thong, not the kind of thong that goes between your two cheeks, no, no, no. A thong is what goes on your feet, in other countries you would call this 'sandals' or 'flip flops'. But in Australia we call it a thong.
